Parking & Entry
Two handicap accessible spots are available in our lot, directly at the bottom of the walkway that leads to our front door.
This walkway is the primary entryway to the space.
Facilities Features to Note
Limited startling noises: NO automatic hand dryers or automatic flushing toilets.
Two family-style restrooms, one of which has a full-size change table.
Exhibit Area Features to Note
– Single level access
– Open hallway for easy use of mobility devices
– Lift to sunken exhibit area
Sensory Bags for Checkout
Sensory Bags are always available for checkout at our front desk.
Joy for All
Children’s Museum of Franklin is a non-profit organization committed to providing a space that all families can access, regardless of financial circumstances.
Sensory-Hours
8:00–9:00 am on the last Sunday of every month.
Limited attendance to 50 individuals. Registration is required.
