A Place to Explore
Field Trips
Hands-on learning, endless discovery.
Our hands-on exhibits and interactive activities spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Whether exploring science, art, or imaginative play, students will engage in enriching experiences that inspire discovery beyond the classroom.
Children’s Museum of Franklin provides a dynamic environment for hands-on, developmentally appropriate play—an essential part of early learning and healthy development. Every space is thoughtfully designed to offer meaningful learning opportunities that foster connection, cooperation, imagination and exploration. Engaging, interactive exhibits inspire curiosity and connect children to a variety of curriculum areas.
For older students, Children’s Museum of Franklin provides a fun and engaging way to explore a range of STEAM concepts, expanding interests, reinforcing classroom learning, and sparking curiosity.

One of the best field trips that we have been on. They did small group activities with us on force and motion, which were very age appropriate for 7-8 year olds. The space was clean, organized and so fun! We will definitely be back!”
